We had the most wonderful experience in Turkey – thanks to our guide, Tugrul. He was a virtual expert in the history of Turkey, Ephesus, and The House of the Virgin Mary. He navigated us along beautiful scenic roads and was able to avoid the crowds. Tugrul also introduced us to Turkish Tea, which was a pleasant treat (even in the heat of the summer). With our request to purchase a fine woven tapestry from Turkey, he brought us by a small, local owned store with hand woven rugs and tapestry. We ended out day with a delicious lunch on a private patio, where we able to sample authentic food and wine from Turkey. Thanks to much Tugrul for making our trip the most memorable stop on our Mediterranean cruise!
Thanks,

Thank you so much for the WONDERFUL tour! Orchun , spoke very nice English, and did a wonderful job! It was so nice to have him taking our pictures too! He even took the time to go back and purchase a good picture book of Ephesus for me. We just recommended your company to Rick’s Aunt and Uncle, Betty and Ben Miller, who are going on the cruise this week.
Thank you very much!

The highlight of our cruise was our tour in Kusadasi, Turkey. We did the tour of Ephesus and Kirazli village with Dennis. It was an exceptional tour. Dennis spoke excellent English, was very personable, and was extremely knowledgeable. While the four of us were touring the ruins in Ephesus with Dennis as our personal guide, we saw the hordes of people from the cruise tour buses moving past us. We were able to absorb each site, take time for pictures and ask Dennis countless questions, which he was able to expertly answer. After our tour of Ephesus we enjoyed a beautiful lunch at the rug making co-op and we able to see how the silk is made from cocoons, the threads dyed and then watch some of the women as they expertly knotted the threads to make the rugs. From there we went to the near by Village of Kirazli to stroll the streets and have a snack at a quaint local restaurant. It was a chance to see how the people in Turkey really live away from the big cities and the tourist areas. The family who runs the restaurant was a joy. Thank you for making tours like this one available to us through your company. This one cost a little more, but it was worth every penny. I would highly recommend your company to anyone in the future and plan on being a return customer when we cruise again.
Sincerely,

Great job by Orchen in Ephesus. I was particularly impressed that your tour company uses both a driver and a guide. The enhancement of the tour was significant. We had 5 guided tours on this trip (none of them provided by Celebrity cruises ... I arrange them myself). Orchen's tour in Ephesus was in the top 2. Please pass on my best to Orchen. I told him I was going to write and give him "props.

We are back in Reston and
suffering from a bad case of post-vacation blues. We look at
our photos daily and dream of the wonderful day we spent with you
touring the magnificent ruins of Ephesus and the surrounding area.
The new small rug is in a place of honor and the various pottery
pieces arrived in Reston before we got back and in perfect shape.
Thank you for making our day in Kusadasi so special
